Ever considered self employment?
We've put together a package that will see you trading as a sole trader whilst learning all there is to self employment and having support all the way. We've done this as we think self employment is the way to go to be able to create a passive income as well as achieving a great work/life balance, you can even run your own business alongside full/part time work! We think it offers the best chance to boost entrepreneurship and support employment statistics.
We're not saying this is going to be your job for the rest of your life (it could be), we're saying that we want to provide a training platform from which you can learn about being self employed whilst having a safety net and earning your own money.
It works a bit like Avon (with less makeup) in that you sign up and begin trading our products and we support you in doing so. The differences come when it becomes time to start keeping accounts and filing returns as we will help you through and ensure you are compliant with HMRC etc. Did you know that even if you work from home the HSE still regulates first aid requirements?
We offer 2 business models:
1. Wholesale - you choose what you want to sell from our range of products and purchase at a wholesale price to add to your inventory. The benefits of this include, potential for better margins (more money), more flexibility in how you market your stock and you don't need to worry about all the complicated processes of setting up multiple trade accounts. (Did you know that many suppliers don't accept sole trader applications!).
The possible disadvantages include having to store your stock (warehousing) and the greater initial outlay.
2. Commission - you market and sell our products and in return we give you commission - percentage of the sale - at a predetermined rate (guaranteed higher than the likes of Avon.) The advantages include not having to worry about warehousing and minimal financial outlay.
The possible disadvantages include less flexibility in marketing as you don't hold your own inventory and lower returns as commission is always lower than wholesale discounts.
Now, like Avon, there is a sign up fee of £35.00 to cover administration whilst we're getting you up and running but we feel that is fair especially considering all the time you are saving not having to hunt for your own accounts and the support that is available. On top of all that you will even receive discounts on workforce training such as first aid courses.
Once signed up and decided upon which model you would like to adopt we can support you in registering as self employed, keeping accounts, compliance, social media marketing, sales channels, branding and other aspects of running your own business.
If you're interested in being self employed and working your own hours and think we would be great partners for your new business (we do) then get in touch via [email protected] and we can get things moving.
